![]() Hello everyone, First off, some thank you’s: Thank you to everyone in our Junior Bands that performed on April 15th for our Spring Concert! I thought both bands did very well – both musically AND behaviour-wise. Thank you for modelling good behaviour to the middle school students that were visiting and performing. A huge thank you goes out to the 10 students that helped set up for that concert. With 6 bands from 3 schools and a TON of performers your help was truly appreciated. Our 4th annual “A Touch of New Orleans” jazz night was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone that came to the show, sold raffle tickets, bought raffle tickets, and to all of the parents who helped behind the scenes! Both jazz bands played SO well – good playing on the charts and some great solos! Thank you to all of the concert band students that helped with set-up (that took approximately an hour – WOW!), tear-down, and serving. I’ve received some wonderful comments from people about how polite, organized and professional you were. Bravo! You all have made me very proud. Band This Week: 1.) Please read the running order for call times for these shifts. The uniform for students working the “service shifts” is black bottoms (pants, dress, skirt and shoes) and white top. Thank you for taking part in this – this fundraiser helps to purchase much-needed sheet music, chairs, music stands, instruments, uniforms, and equipment not covered by the school district!
