Thank you to the new parents and students that came to support some of these opportunities and to Russ Forster for organizing. Thank you for a wonderful week. We saw LOTS of success this past week with the band festival, and recently with the Layritz Little League performance! It was a wet day at Layritz but the Senior Band performed very well. Thank you to all of the parents and students that helped with transporting equipment, set-up, and tear-down! There were many comments from spectators, volunteers and kids about how much the band added to the opening ceremonies. Hopefully everyone has dried out and instruments and music aren’t too waterlogged! Visit our Facebook page to see photos (the website will be updated soon with photos as well). Congratulations also go out to two Grade 12 students! Kathryn Brown (flute) and Alyshia Joinson (clarinet) who both auditioned for post-secondary music schools last week! 1.)
