Thank you to Bruce Gowers and Daniel Zelisko for carrying water and to the Band-Mom-Braid-Brigade for their braiding help. :)

Thank you to all of our student volunteers that made the 5th Annual Grade 6 Band Festival a success last Thursday! You were SO helpful in many ways: adjudicators assistants, check-in desk, band guides, stage crew, grade 6 wranglers.

Congratulations to everyone who auditioned for the Esquimalt Township Youth Mentorship program after the parade. We hope to hear results soon! I am in need of 20 grade 10-12 volunteers to assist as band guides, warm-up room monitors, storage room monitors, adjudicators assistants, and stage crew. Please sign up in the band room. Period 1 and 2 classes will watch the festival as the band room will be used as a warm-up room.

Enjoy your week! Keep practicing!

Think SUN for the Parade on Saturday. But not TOO much sun. Actually, you know what? Think mildly overcast. With a cool breeze. But not so cool that we play flat… :o)
