Hi Band Folks!

Thank you for a wonderful Year End Concert on Tuesday night at the Alix Goolden Hall! All bands played very well and I am very proud of all of our musicians. Thank you grads and band parents for the touching tribute and for the beautiful gifts. I think I’m going to need a bigger house! :)

Congratulations to Grade 12s Alyshia Jonison and Kathryn Brown who both performed in the School District Music Scholarship contest on Thursday evening. Both ladies won $400 scholarships! Thank you to Hyein Ji for accompanying both Kathryn and Alyshia on piano for their pieces.

Great work, Marching Band! The Oak Bay Tea Party parade was a huge success. We came second this year and I am so proud of all of you for your hard work during the parade. Thank you to all of the parents who helped with hair braiding and uniforms in the marshalling area.
