I hope everyone had an opportunity to recharge this weekend. Cold-season has a way of showing up early in September... drink lots of water, get some rest when you can and stay healthy
All of our ensembles have had an opportunity to settle in and pursue some very exciting music. I am thrilled at the level of enthusiasm and preparedness our students are already demonstrating. Keep up the great work guys and our year will be phenomenal!
Congratulations to Senior Concert Band and Junior Concert band. Our Official invitation to Musicfest Nationals has been received. Whilst we will not be attending this year (held in Ottawa), it is a tremendous compliment to the high level of playing you performed last year. Next years host city is Calgary... perhaps a goal for next year?
