I hope you all had a good weekend!
Our first Tour Band rehearsal on Wednesday was a big success! This is the first time that we have formed a separate concert band with separate repertoire to perform on tour. Looking forward to the San Francisco tour in a few weeks!
Thank you to the Senior Jazz Band for performing at our Elder’s Tea on Wednesday morning! Thank you for being so organized, for playing well, and for cleaning everything up while I was unavailable.
Our Pit Orchestra had a successful “sitzprobe” (a first run-through of the show’s music with the orchestra and cast together) with the Mary Poppins cast on Thursday afternoon. Congratulations! Only a few short weeks until opening night. Keep up the hard work!
Finally, thank you to 56 students and parents who came out to the Bottle Drive on Saturday morning! The weather held off until the end and together you raised $1083 for individual student accounts and for the band general account. Thank you!
