First and foremost, HOLY SMOKES its October?! :)
Congratulations and thank you to all the students, family and extended family who came out to participate and support Spectrums Great Apple Pie event, our 12th in as many years!
This was my first and I was touched by the level of enthusiasm, ingenuity and production by students, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents! All of you rock! Thank you to Jacquie Hawey for organizing, overseeing and coordinating this massive event, Ian for bringing out our shells, multiple apple trips, Cynthia for jumping in as co-lead,Victoria Stewart for sticking around when she was looking for her son to pick up and suddenly found herself cutting butter and Michelle Schmit for sourcing so many apple trees to pick. Thank you thank you!
