Spectrums Large Ensembles
Junior Concert Band - This ensemble is made up of Grade 9 and 10 students (and grade 11/12 students learning secondary instruments). This ensemble further develops practical music skills and introduces students to high school music performance practices.
Senior Concert Band - This ensemble is made up of Grade 11 and 12 students (and invited Grade 10s) and has a busy performance schedule - in the community, at school events, at festivals, and at local feeder schools. A major emphasis is placed on traditions, teamwork, performance practices and excellence. Spectrum Senior Concert Band has a rich tradition of placing high amongst local Festivals, with consecutive invitations to Musicfest Nationals.
