Spectrum Guitar Lab

 Guitar Lab is a one-semester course for students looking to play an instrument for the first time. There are no requisites or experience needed. The main objective of this course is to create an enhanced appreciation for music through playing the guitar. Students will learn how to read music notation, chord symbols, and tablature. Students will also gain a better understanding of many different musical genres including classical, flamenco, blues, jazz, rock, and pop music. Guitars are provided for classroom use. Recommended to have a guitar at home but is not necessary.
