Grade 12s - Dogwood District Awards (Performing Arts: Music)
The Dogwood District Awards recognize achievement in elective areas (music, band, etc.). Applying is easy! However, you must put together a portfolio to showcase your involvement in the area of your choice. Over the years, band students have made scrapbooks, CDs, Powerpoint presentations, videos/DVDs etc.

Amount: $1000 ($500 to your post-secondary institution / $500 to you for books, tuition, supplies etc.)

Requirements:
- A letter to the Scholarship Awards Committee.
- At least 2 letters of reference in sealed envelopes from specialty area teachers.
- A resumé highlighting your accomplishments in music.
- A copy of your Ministry of Education Transcript Verification Report (dated May 2015).
- A Portfolio showcasing your involvement in fine arts/band/music over the course of your secondary school years.
